Hi! My name is Pockets, and you'll find my friends -- Capp and Wendell -- and me in Pockets magazine and on the web.
Pockets isn't my real name (I don't ever tell anybody my real name). People started calling me Pockets when I was real little because I wanted everything I wore to have lots of Pockets. I made sure I had something in every pocket. Even though I'm older now, everybody still calls me Pockets. That's okay -- I kind of like it. Besides, I don't know anybody else who has a magazine and a web page with the same name.
Kids named the magazine Pockets because they usually keep neat things in their pockets, and Pockets has all sorts of neat things inside. I can't think of anything neater than knowing that God loves you, and that's what the pages in the magazine and the web page help you to know.
